The Perfect Rack for LCC?

1 set of offset nuts, 1 set of rps, and double set of cams from blue alien to blue camalot will get you up most everything. Maybe throw in a 4. Big gear if its big. Oh, and lots of 2 to 4 foot slings and biners.

I climbed with a single rack of camalots from .5-#4 and a set of stoppers for years doing ALL the 5.7-5.9s. the 3 larger RPs would have been nice as well for climbs like Green A.

I agree with both of the posts. it just depends if you want to over protect the route or not(which i do constantly). The gear I caress the most on my way down the canyon is my DMM offset nuts and DMM peanuts. the peanuts get down to those large RP sizes and they are made of much much longer lasting aluminum. I just invested in some luxury cams and they feel like they were made just for LCC, and thats the Metolius offset master cam. you don't need em to climb all the routes in LCC but if you have em they sure come in handy.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
