Quoth The Raven

Description

Not really a distinct crux on this one, more of just a sustained 5.6 or 5.7 slab. Maybe the hardest move is by the second bolt. This is a fun safe climb with nice edges at a low angle.

Location

Just left of Protocol

Protection

Three bolts lead to a bolted belay/rappel.

Originally lead on-sight without bolts; bolts added later.

Well, like Chris said, but then I bolted it on lead. Sorry, I couldn't find information on any routes in the area other than "Gorby Goes To Washington". If it isn't chopped its a fun sport climb.

Talked to Bill Cramer this AM;.....he says that he is fine with his 5.7 X climb being made into a cool, safe lead, especially by someone doing it up on the lead on hooks with a hand drill, and who didn't know it had been done before as, more or less, a solo. (Bill said one reason it was done this way was probably because they were out of bolts!).... This route has the FA team's blessing, and I personally will go out soon to do this climb;....looks like fun! Good one!.....
