Question about southern Thailand

Has anyone rented gear at Basecamp shop in Tonsai Thailand? I plan on climbing for about 5 days in Tonsai and would rather not lug a rope and draws from the US. Apparently they rent everything you need. Wondering if others have experience with this and can recommend going this route. Thanks.

They rent it all.. Five days of rentals may be spendy. Basically US rental prices in Tonsai. If you are only climbing for a day or two, then I would rent. I took harnesses, draws and chalk bag and ended up climbing with other people who had gear. Ended up not needing my draws or a rope. Have fun!

recommend bring your own gears, or partner with someone who has gear. five day of rental is pretty expansive.
