Greetings NE climbers!

Devil's Den in Pawtuckaway holds a lot of mystery for people interested in trad climbing there, as many seemingly possible routes are filled with ancient pins and quarter inch rivets, but it is hard to find info on what they are.

Today I was interested in climbing the finger/hand crack into this v-groove roof and then above and beyond. I noticed that there are three pins pounded into cracks above the roof, and it has definitely been climbed before.

I didn't get on it, but I want to. The difficult nature of pawtuckaway climbing was enough of a deterrent this time.

Thanks!

Eli

Thanks Andrew! I added friend of the devil to the database.

Does the Arch go up that left facing corner into the roof, or is it the long traverse that looks like it is a hand crack for days?
