DescriptionUsually shady and windy in the Pump Master rock area because of the small rock valley. Fairly secluded, although a 5 minute hike from Teenage Area. Hikers on the Angel Rocks trail rarely venture down to this area. The rock is granite. Getting There"The rock is located by first finding Teenage Area, and the rock with a cave going under it. Follow main trail downhill past some low rocks watching on your left for the steep face of Pumpmaster with a shady grove of large birch trees. Coming from Main Rock, go up hill on the trail past serveral amorphous rocks and watch for the shady grove. Easy climbing up onto a ledge leads to a right-leaning juggy rail. Above the rail, a 6' high overhanging block marks the finish (and crux) of the route. Good jamming technique will make things significantly easier than liebacking through this section.
