Hi everyone,

I was curious if anyone had suggestions on how to learn to re-bolt routes properly. The ASCA has provided a useful amount of information concerning do's and don'ts. Yet nothing suffices for real experience when it comes to equipping safe routes. Is there any local ASCA members that do this in Central Phoenix?

you should consider coming to the Access Fund's bolting summit this November in Vegas- the ASCA along with folks from all over the nation (and the world, actually) who spend alot of time bolting and re-bolting will be there. it'd be a good place to start.

Thanks John!

I'll definitely look into seeing if I can make it out, might be able to bring a couple of other interested friends/climbers who could benefit.

That sounds like a great event!

Kudos Anthony for taking time to learn. There are a few of us down in Tucson that replace old hardware, you are welcome to come along some time. Definitely consider going to the above-mentioned event though as those guys have tons of experience.
