CA State Parks officially reopened Big Rock to public access April 28th, 2018. After months of effort 53 anchors and 232 bolts have been upgraded to 1/2" X 2.75" stainless steel Powers 5-piece bolts and rings.
Description
This is the bolt line on the right side of the southwest face. Climb up and around to the right of the south arete on easy holds to the second bolt. The crux comes next, a trust your feet balance move to gain the third bolt. Easy pulling through the patina gains the top of the boulder and a two-bolt anchor with rap rings. Rappel to descend.
