Description

Climb the overhanging hand crack out of the small cave.

Location

This is located in a small cave on the upper west side of Pothole Dome.
Park in the paved turnout across from Marmot Dome. Hike around the west (left) side of Pothole Dome for about 0.25 miles.

Protection

On lead: rack of singles to 3.5", if desiring a big first piece; otherwise 1.5" and smaller rest of way up. Note the expansion behind the lip at many spots of this irregular jagged crack.

Anchor bolts with only hangers just above the lip, with no rap rings/chains.

Natural anchor available at topout ledge above. Walk off to climber's right and toward backside, to circle clockwise down back to base.

Yikes. Is this thing really only 11a? I thought it was harder. But the swing is fun!
