DescriptionA nice cliff band with slabby to overhanging routes reaching 15 feet tall with excellent landings and some exciting top outs. I am in the process of writing up a complete route list on this area, but for now, here are some pictures to give you a feel for it. Getting ThereFind the parking lot between 40th Ave. W. and 27th Ave. W. on Skyline Drive. Walk north up the road about 100 yards until it intersects the Superior Hiking trail (small blue signs) on either side. Just before reaching the SHT there is another steep, wide, gravelly trail. Follow this trail uphill for another 200 yards and you will see the wall up on the ridge. St. Luke's V0 MN : Duluth Rock (Duluth) : ... : Lower Wall
Pretty mellow warmup. A lot taller than the picture shows. This follows good holds on a crack that comes to a stance. Continue up the crack on an angled slab or exit right. Left looks kinda sketch and somewhat dirty. ...[more] Browse More Classics in MN
