I made a quick guide sheet to help

Description 

A pleasant addition to the 9th street climbing area, this crag has only 5 routes that are all sport climbs. Routes range from 5.8 - 5.10d. This area, like the rest of the stuff on 9th is best in the morning and evening, lots of daytime sun.


Getting There 

Park at the top of ninth street, follow the paved trail past the shoreline trail and continue up toward the second water tank, take the obvious trail to the right and follow it over to the first two climbs, the rest are just around the corner in the rock alcove area.

There are two areas here. The first one has Man in Black and Cocaine Blues, and the other has the other three. The beta guide sheet says they are just around the corner, but you have to go down a pretty steep, loose trail and then around and then back up another steep trail to get to the other climbs. And there is a bunch of poison oak in the area where the other three climbs are.

The best climb on this wall is the crack to the right of Man In Black in the first area. We even started it from the ground and climbed through the brush. With a little cleaning it would be awesome.

We couldn't figure out Man In Black, so we ended up climbing Cocaine Blues. Then we top-roped the crack (I'd rate the crack at 5.9+ or 5.10a), which was really fun.

There is an old piton at the very top of the crack. I don't think we were the first ones here...
