Description 

This is an oasis-like area with a handful of boulders that possess some quality problems. It is a bit secluded, and the presence of water gives it a novel feel in comparison to other Nine Mile bouldering areas.

As a note, some of the boulders/landings in this area, at least where the creek is, are possibly inundated during spring runoff, and many of the boulders for this area exist beyond the creek's vicinty. Use the associated map for reference concerning locations.

Getting There 

From the US-50/CO HWY 141 intersection, the pullout is 7.3 miles on road right. There is a mailbox at the pullout (it's the only mailbox on Nine Mile Hill).

Be respectful as the access road is a driveway for a residence on the far side of the canyon.

Chocolate Couture is a straightforward crimp test. Stand start by reaching a right hand, incut sidepull and a left hand on an oblique crimp. From there, move straight up the slightly overhung face using a bulbous knob and crimp rail. The topout is solid and juggy.
