BETA PHOTO: Pond cave map.
The Pond Cave is a longer cliff band that nearly climbs over the water and holds some of the steepest climbing in the woods with quality problems ranging from v3-v10. The pond cave traverse and who needs hueco are must do problems for anyone who climbs regularly at Lincoln Woods.
Winter sun and summer shade but it can be a mosquito nightmare.
From the sit down area, continue along the road until you see a large pond on your right (the road ends soon after). The pond cave sits on the far end of the pond so approach from any path that leads around but watch your step because the ground may be muddy.

V4 might be the best grade to climb at Lincoln Woods and this one is a contender for the top. Start at the base of the crack in the center of the cave following the crack up and right. Grady, solid sends. The Problem you did on the Tombstone boulder is actually yet another variation of The Executioner. As far as I am aware, it may have first been done by Brandon Gonsalves, and be called something to the effect of Brandons Back Breaker after a brutal back flab a friend took while trying the problem. POD exits hard left through the roof after the first left hand move, and involves a hard lockoff to a gaston w a thumb catch, then a hard driveby move to jugs and a piss easy top out. PO Double D is an eliminate finish to POD that finishes on the route you did, and avoids the easy jug topout and is some sort of 10. Wait, eliminates on top of variations? Must be hard problems at the woods! Again nice work.
