Pomme d'Or conditions
|
Hello friends. Some buddies and I are thinking of driving up to the Hautes Gorges area to do some ice climbing, with our primary objective being La Pomme d'Or. Has anyone been in there yet this season? Is there any reason to believe that it might not be in condition? |

When are you coming up? |

We would be leaving to drive north on Friday, and would only have 3 days in the area (maybe 4 at the absolute most). It would be a very quick trip. I imagine it's a full day to get in and another to get out? Is this even possible, or would it require a lot of luck? |

AlexyIts a very long shot with out a snowmobile, how much driving do you have to do ? |

1 day ski in + 1 day climb + 1 day ski out is very reasonable. I don't know exactly how far the snowmobile can get you but I don't think it's very far. |
