Description
A beautiful nest-egg of a free-standing boulder sitting atop a terrace. This is on of the first striking boulders you will see upon entering the Close Plateau Area. This boulder offers a number of different problems ranging in difficulty from easy/warm-up to advanced.
Getting There
Depart from Camp Sallie along the dirt road that continues off beyond the campsites that sit underneath a stand of gum trees. Continue to follow the dirt road past a pond on your left and some houses. At the end of the dirt road is a gate. Pass through but don't forget to close it behind you. From here follow the clearly defined climber's trail which will lead you directly to the boulder.
