Please check my harness

Hi I was trimming the tag on my harness and accidentally nicked a bit of material near the bar tacking that holds the waistbelt together. I'm probably being paranoid but wanted a little piece of mind. Can someone let me know if I may have compromised the bar tacking?

Thanks

Read the BD article on how strong bar tacked belay loops are.. I'm pretty sure at 75% cut it still held like almost 1000 lbs.. your fine. I'd protect it so it doesn't get all fuzzy.. burn the ends or tape or something.

Next time just stuff the tag into that little pocket to keep it out of the way. That is what its there for.

Yer gunna die.
Send the harness to me for inspection and proper disposal, PM me and I'll give you my shipping address.

Most companies mark that tag with the serial number, and removing it voids the warranty. As someone else said, there is usually a convenient place to tuck it out of the way.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
