Description Plain Truth follows a vertical crack system up to a roof. Work up to the roof on thin holds before pulling the roof on a big jug.
Location Plain Truth is located just right of Truth or Consequences. You may want to actually start at the same spot (downed trees in the area), then traverse right until you are under the crack system leading up to the Plain Truth roof.
Protection Standard rack with long slings.

| This is a great route, similar in feel to Truth or Consequences but a little harder. As others have said, the crux isn't the roof, but the last few feet before you get to it. Looking at it from the ground, the roof crack looks thin and intimidating, then you get up there and find there's this huge horn like a pullup bar. Now all you have to do is figure out how to get in a position to grab that nice secure horn . . . |
