Description Pipeline is the right of two bolt routes on the beautiful sweeping slab left of Beefeater and right of Eleven Cent Moon. It starts at the bolted belay at the top of Silver Surfer and trends right and up the ever steepening face. Pipeline is an excellent climb up clean and featured rock. There is probably not a 12a move on the route, and the crux is keeping it together for the numerous moves of 5.11 without having your foot ping off a pimple. This is high-angle face rather than a friction slab and most of the holds are positive. This might be a four-star route, but since it is so close to three other mega-classics (and on top of the short but superb Silver Surfer) it is somewhat hard to say.
Location The route starts at the end of the very obvious Silver Surfer on the Northwest side of Holdout.
Protection All bolts, with gear needed for Silver Surfer. There are usually anchors on top.

| Really great face route! The crux might be keeping your focus for the routes entirety. Stiff for the grade. |
