BETA PHOTO: Updated topo for Pink Face/Big Tower areas
Pink Face lies to the left of Big Tower at the start of the Lower Gorge coming from the South Access Road.
A number of easy to moderate routes exist. This cliff is hardly ever busy.
It faces North West so can provide welcome shade from the Sun in the morning.
On the east side of the paved, middle power plant rd., where the river bends and the steep hill ends. Cross via a bridge hidden under the leaning tree.
Weather station 17.5 miles from here

There's a variety of decent moderates in this area and it's one of the few areas with kid and beginner-friendly climbs. Everything on the main Pink Face wall is fun on stellar quality rock. The main Pink Face wall stays in the shade most of the day. The Pink Face Buttress on the right side offers some more challenging climbs with bouldery starts.
As a side note- the hillside is extremely loose. We've made some effort to stabilize and mark the trails. Try to walk on established trails and large rocks whenever possible to help with the erosion issue. Thanks.

We have recently added a kid & pet-friendly crossing (just below the Narrows), and 7 new routes to this area. The new climbs are moderate (from 5.3 to 5.10b), making "Pink Face Area" an even better beginner area.
Please stay on established trails.
