Pinebrook Crag Rock Climbing
solo 5.6 **
Very easy fun climbing on the two routes. East facing so its out of the sun in the afternoon.
Take I-80 up to Park City. Take exit 141 (The Jeremy Ranch exit). Hang a right onto Homestead Rd, which turns into Pinebrook Blvd. Take a right onto Pinebrook Rd, keep going straight until you you reach a tight right hand bend with mail boxes and a school bus turn around. take a left on Canyon Dr keep going up until you get to another Canyon Dr (not Canyon Dr Court), turn left there. Park on the left hand side of the road (north side) almost immediately after the last turn and walk to a trail head on the south side of the road. Follow the trail up for about 0.75 miles until you start to see some rocks on the left side of the trail. You can walk to the top of the climb on a small trail through some scrub oak then rap down or you can take a side trail that is on the climbers left of the rock down to the bottom of the wall..

Super fun if you are in the area and just need a quick fix. Not challenging a slabish. Great place to toprope and teach.

Just found this climb in my neighborhood from this website and some friends. Super easy climb but really fun if you just have an hour to do a quick sesh. There are 3 bolts at the top so there are a couple different routes you could take. Really fun for just a quick climb! Kind of a difficult way to get to it through the brush but not bad.
