Domain of tourists in the summer and domain of ice climbers in the winter. I feel like these climbs got climbed a lot more before they started to plow the road into Hyalite. The 2012 Pine Creek fires have changed a couple of the flows but most everything that I saw is still forming. Pine Creek is also host to the legendary Green Gully which should be on every ice climbers tick list. There are some fantastic stories about these early ascents on the Dirty Socks Club's website. Here is one from the legendary Pat Callis. dirtysoxclub.wordpress.com/members/the-experiment/
Directions from Bozeman. Approaches vary from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. More detailed approaches can be found in the description of the climbs.
