| Still a lot of snow on broadway and the north chimney. Saturday would have been a beautiful diamond day, but getting there would have been a challenge, perhaps the reason why the diamond was void of climbers. Chasm View Wall (Directisma) was awesome. Wally | FLAG |

| W- Was Directissima wet at all or was it totally dry? | FLAG |

| Hey Brent - the upper half of the last pitch was wet, certainly added some spice to the lead for my partner. Wasn't too bad - I would go back in the same conditions. The rest of the line was dry. Great memorable climb. | FLAG |

| W- Thanks for the info. A little wetness would make the last part of the headwall interesting for sure. I need to get back up there and tussle w/ the OW/Chimney again. | FLAG |

| David - yeah, they are still in there, and won't be coming out unless someone goes up there with a crowbar and or a hack saw. MP rack beta is good for this one. 1 C4 #4 camalot, 1 old style #3.5 camalot, and 2 C4 #3 camalots should have you well protected. If you don't have the #3.5, and you want ample protection, bring a second C4 #4. The 9+ rating for the OW is very old school. That pitch is hard! | FLAG |
