I’m sure this has been asked but I couldn’t find it, how do you see a larger version of the photo of the moment? I tried clicking on it and it seems to make it go away faster.

Don't click on the actual photo (this will only advance the photo block to the next in line "Photo of the Day"). Click the text bar below the picture... this will advance you to the actual post where the photo lies (often under the area and crag the photo depicts). From this point you can click on the photo and enlarge it (although some photos do not allow this).

You can also click on the enlarge button in the upper right hand corner if you want to just see it in higher resolution without navigating away from the main page. It's next to the text "Photo of the Moment".

Oh! Much better option then mine.... Less clicking around back and forth..

Hmm. How did I not see that button before? Thanks for the tip!

On another note I'm always excited when I've done a handful of the routes in "photos of the moment". I've decided that the day I have climbed 30 of 30 I will officially hang up my rack and find another hobby :)

Just saw two photos on the photo of the day that I took. Didn't expect to see that.
edited to say that obviously you don't have to have a great photo to get into that rotation.

It occurred to me I never said thank you. I just didn’t look hard enough.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
