Anyone else considering going to Vegas to see Phish's Halloween shows and considering tacking on a day or two of climbing?

Had no luck with PTBM or Gen ticket sale, but I will be out there for the weekend at Red Rocks. Plan is to fly in Friday, so if you have extras, I'm looking for Sat/Sun/Mon, haha.

Going to be in CO for Dick's next weekend as well. Original plan was to head to Moab the following Weds with my g/f from SLC, so I decided to extend/change the vaca and hit up Red Rocks > Zion > Moab.

Caught the Gorge shows last month, fall tour should be killer!

How many phish kids does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
phish kids don’t screw in lightbulbs, they screw in Volkswagon Busses.

How do you know when a phish kid has come to visit you?
He's still there.

How do you know when a phish kid has broken up with his girlfriend?
He’s homeless.

Where do you hide money from a phish kid?
Under the soap.

How many phish kids fit in a VW bus?
Two more and a dog.

Worth checking back out, specifically Summer Tour 2015. Lockn is livestreaming both shows this weekend for free, but I'll be @ the New climbing.

Ya they're a more mature flavor these days...

James maybe if things line up we might be able to get out for some part of one of the days.

If someone told me they were underwhelming in 1995 I sure as hell wouldn't try and convince them to go see them in 2015.

^^^^^^^

That being said...I'll be there. Hopefully able to get some climbing in early in the run.

How would anyone be able to climb after being subjected to all those patchouli fumes?

I might add:

What's the worst part about being a Phish phan?

1) The music.

Other answers can work too.

What's the one thing that most people have extreme opinions about yet know nothing about? Phish.

What's to know? Listen to a part of one song and the realization that it's all boring musical masturbation is immediate.
Not that there's anything wrong with that if you like that sort of sonic noodling.

Just for you Marc... a non noodling phish song about trundling a stone...

lol Im sure this is sarcasm, but they are playing better than ever. Just did a brand new album and one last year.

I'll be up there, but didn't leave enough time to climb.

And to all you haters...jimi hendrix was a noodler too. :o)

That's awesome you're making the trip down Scott! Gonna be a great weekend/Halloween for sure! I'm trying to get out Sunday... though maybe end up at Kraft Boulders without a pad ;-(

I think comparing Jim Hendrix to phish is like comparing that guy who climbs well at the gym to John Bachar.
