I have had this helmet for a season now, and I have some comments that may save people some money on buying this helmet. It is exactly the same as the Elios helmet, but has a mesh liner that suspends the interior of the helmet off your skull. My opinion on this feature: It makes the helmet sit very high on your head, this in turn makes the adjustable chin strap sit over the top of your ears instead of straddling your ears. Maybe it is just my head, maybe it is bad design. After I removed the liner, it felt great. Very lightweight, and comfortable. Chin strap fit very well after liner removal. You can adjust with one hand. The only difference between the two seems to be cosmetic. Save $10 and buy the Elios.

Besided different vent holes, the front of Elios looks to come down over forehead a bit more too.

Elios can also be fitted with face shield for ice climbing.

I came to the same conclusion, altios is worthless for protection from anything other than rock fall, and it that is your goal just get a regular suspension helmet like the elcap that fits way better. I went with an elios as well and have been happy with that choice
