Description This is a variation to the finish of Peterman's Route. it stays on the face left of the corner and climbs the cracked face to the rim, starting at the ledge some 40' below the top.
Location Same as Peterman's Route. Either a very short rappel from the handrails or lower by the belayer.
Protection Standard rack to hand-size cams.

| Although this climb can be led without too much difficulty, it is generally considered a toprope problem for beginners. I would have given this a 5.7- rating if that had been a possibility on the list. Not as enjoyable as the corner route, which is fun. I gave this climb a single star out of deference to others; I personally think it's a "bomb." |
