Description On the northwest side of Hornsby's, Pestilence is the left route of the two bolted lines. Climb through the bolts which are hard to pick out from the ground. This route is well protected, but more runout then The Way It Is. Fixed anchors and a one rope rappel to get off.
Protection bolted route, fixed anchors at the top

| The bolts were replaced with stainless steel 3/8" x 3 3/4" Hiltis recently. Definately a route for beginning 5.9 leaders. Multiple cruxes with good rests. I'm not certain why this route is catergorized as sport considering the bolts were placed on the lead. |

| The last moves on this route are quite reachy for someone under 5'-6" tall. |
