Good one shane- I was putting up quite few f/a's in the '80's (not in CO) We used the best we had.. 5/16 rawl was a HUGE step up from 1/4" (drilling on lead)

My old bud , Paul Ross-" people give you shit about about f/a's ' Anybody that doesn't like what happened in peni last week should have been there..great time, hard work and areally good scene.

i for one was psyched to see so many youngsters around.

I could write a script to post for guys. I'd take "drill", "back in the day" and "I'm so bold" and run it through a thesaurus.

"I'm a ball-cupper" would cover a few more.

None of this has anything at all to do with the problems brought up in this thread.

Stick clips can be very handy in this area to keep it a little safer

I for one don't care what condition that stuff was in. I;m just glad it's there no longer. Give the FA some credit. They put up what was good for their time on their hard earned money. And if you don't like clipping bad bolts, go buy some trad gear and stop whining. If you want nice super safe stuff to climb on, grow some balls and set your own route. If you want to climb on other people's stuff, those are the risks you take
