Description 

This is an organizational entry to clean up some of the ice sections here. Thanks to Austin for the motivation.

This area initially had a few pure ice lines of short stature. Subsequently, mixed climbers added rock starts to the climbs which added variety and steepness...and the name Belfry.

Some of the crowds can be left behind on busy days up here; however, the entire micro-amphitheater can only hold a few parties.

Getting There 

This area lies above the Spiral Staircase area. You can access it by climbing any of the lines below and slogging up to this area or ascending a 3rd/4th class gully (often with a fixed rope) to the right.
