This limestone crag is divided by two separate walls, Pollego Superior and Pollego Inferior. The south face of Pollego Inferior is fairly slabby and @ 500m long. A couple of guidebooks exist and can be found on the internet and in Saldes, the town nearest the crag.

Getting There

Head north from Barcelona to Berga on the E9 then head to Saldes. A popular start is the Refugi Lluis Estasen located at 5400' elevation on the north side of the crag.

Climbing Season

For the Catalonia area.

Weather station 16.2 miles from here

But, they're all new bolts unlike the buriles/rivets used on the FA. The climb is long and requires routefinding and good skills with placing protection. Helmets mandatory!...[more]   Browse More Classics in International
