Description One of the only pure sport lines at the Beer Walls and what a good one it is! Pats' climbs out a steep cave/roof-like feature on good one to two-pad incuts and large pinches. Begin the route via a right to left angling traverse that leads the climber into steep surfing past several bolts. Keep your game on, because this route will fight you all the way to the chains! Note: One can also eliminate the traversing start by climbing straight up, from the under-belly of the cave past a high bolt--This variation is significantly harder.
Location The right end of the Lower Beer Walls is a cave-like feature with a large over-hanging crack on its' right side (this is Clutch and Cruise--5.8). Pats' Blue Ribbon starts in the back side of this cave and traverses in.
Protection 7 or 8 bolts and chain anchors.
