I'm hoping to find some folks to join me to climb some peaks in the Adirondacks/White Mountains/elsewhere in the North East. I've done a fair bit of winter mountaineering in Scotland, and a bit in the Alps, but I don't have much technical ice climbing experience. (But if someone were willing to show me the ropes, as it were, I'd love to learn. I'm a regular indoor rock climber.)

So I'd really like to tackle a strenuous route that involves a fair bit of steep scrambling on crampons, perhaps with an overnight or two. I only have a short ice axe, not ice tools. Recommendations for in the Adirondacks?
