Description A Pale Morning Dun is a fly sometimes used by anglers while fly fishing. Ask any of the fly fishermen you pass on the trail to see what a pale morning dun looks like and Im sure they would oblige... I had a fly fisherman ask me why I had my pool table on my back last time I boulderbiked the Creeper (referring to my crashpad of course...) When you walk up to the boulder, the first side you will approach is the side you climb. the slightly angled, pointy topped side. Stand start, left hand on the face on a good crimp, right hand on the arete in a edgy two/three finger pocket. Gain feet (heel hook low to the right). Climb directly over the point using smaller holds. top out over arete top. There could be a hard sit start to this line for sure...
Location the first side you will approach is the side you climb. the slightly angled, pointy topped side.
Protection pads. the landing could be pretty sketch if not confidant on the grade.
