after a long approach

Help - we have a trip to Rainier to climb LIberty Ridge planned for June 4-10 and just had a partner bail on us. Looking for 1 or 2 experienced folks; the 2 of us are experienced mountaineers. If you're interested, please drop me a line ASAP.

Thanks.

Jerome, just some fyi's -- that route is a great route with just two people, if you're comfortable with glacier travel. Also -- both times I've been on that route over Memorial Day weekend it's been a wet-fest - so I think that's to be expected. Bivy sacks didn't cut it the first time... Enjoy!

If you're both solid climbers, I'd recommend keeping it a 2 man team. We did it with a 3 man team in June of 2001 (I think)had a great time but felt the effects of having a third. A little advise - stay a night below St. Elmo's pass before pushing to Thumb rock, bury a cache there to hit on your way back out to White River, you'll look forward to it the whole time your legs are burning on the Emmons!!!!
