7:52pmAutumn
yeah good for mind and body i find

7:52pmBen
they do a good job of mulching/weeding so it's easy on the knees
7:52pmAutumn

7:53pmBen

7:55pmAutumn

when we get back to Bend be sure you have time to climb and all
seems like there is a mass exodus from there these days...
7:56pmAutumn
yeah not the easiest place to live in a bad economy
i dont think i will be having much time at all in the next few weeks apparently
7:57pmBen
and I will check on guys for you...this seems to be a constant issue, eh?
7:57pmAutumn
haha
7:57pmBen
you tear through them or what?
7:57pmAutumn
well...i am a little "cooky" shall we say- for lack of a better term/not wanting to be mean??
well the last one just wasnt good enough
i dont settle is all
7:58pmBen
yah, they don't make them like they used to
7:58pmAutumn
plus, long distance blows
7:58pmBen
maybe an older model?
7:59pmAutumn
wouldnt mind... head on straight is all that is reqired
plus attractive good in bed and fit and loves dogs
of course
7:59pmBen
claro
That can't be that hard...
Eugene is the place for that
8:00pmAutumn
thats what i been thinking for a long time
8:00pmBen
plenty of dirty dog loving hipies
8:00pmAutumn
see- now does that exclude the whole "head on straight" clause?
cause i cant do potheads anymore
even if they are creative and nice
8:01pmBen
oh, well get ready for the bad news.....
Eugene is FULL of pot heads
8:02pmAutumn
that is pretty much what i have heard
8:02pmBen
did't they mention that at the chamber of commerce?
8:02pmAutumn
haha, didnt stop in there yet on the way into town
maybe grad school will expose me to SOMETHING
8:03pmBen
JK that does severely limit, but not eliminate your potential mate pool
grad school should offer some potentials
8:04pmAutumn
well, i am glad to you are as concerned about this as i am
cant have me becoming old and spinster like now
I dont even like cats!
i would never make it in that crowd
8:04pmBen
I am posting this entire thread to mountain project
8:04pmAutumn
hahahahaha
yeah well, you add "climber" to the requirements, as well as "no pot heads" and "eugene", and i seriously doubt a single match would come up
forget have to be attractive!
8:06pmBen
and I thought you were an optimist

"oh, well get ready for the bad news.....

Would you prefer meth-heads? Eugene is a cool town. Reasonably close to central Oregon, Callahans, Sweet Home, etc. Good place to be a climber...

GO DUCKS!

Not trying to be a bringer-downer ( I loved living in Eugene, even though I had shithead neighbors, my bike, and my car were stolen...oh, I digress)but in context of finding a partner (climbing or otherwise), the popular pot culture will limit the pool of prospective mates given the prerequisite of "having their head on straight"

Fun Fact: The Kryptonite bike lock warranty is void in two cities, New York and....you guessed it, Eugene, Oregon. Where all these bikes go, I dunno...probably the same place as all my missing socks.

Had my bike stolen in Eugene. It was in a caged, locked area, with TWO locks on it. For that much trouble, the guy probably needed my bike more than I did...
