| It would be worth seeing Mt. St. Helens national monument and doing one of the longer day hikes there. that place is amazing. also, you may want to check on trail conditions at mt. rainier. after last november's horrendous storm (17" rain in 36 hours), many of the roads and trails were washed out. their website ought to give the current status.
the mt. adams area is incredible as well. you can dayhike around there, or even climb adams via the south spur route in a long, long day, via a non-technical snow slope, that also makes a good ski descent. near adams is the goat rocks area, which has some nice hikes as well. honestly, it's all good in the cascades! | |
