DescriptionThis is a section of Sport Park near Surprising Crag. It is overhanging, hence the name. It has about 6-7 routes here in the advanced range of difficulty. Getting ThereThis is in the general area of Surprising Crag and Sport Park, which lies on the S side of the road. Park as for Sport Park, cross the creek, head left or E. Look for a slightly-overhanging wall low. 3-5 minute approach. You can access it from Surprising Crag, but that is more difficult. This is a high quality route on the largely ignored Overhung Wall below Sport Park. No chipping or Z-clipping here. This is the 3rd route from the left and climbs out the largest section of overhanging rock. Restful, vertical slab climbing leads to fantastic, jug climbing through the overhang and a crux at the lip (a kneebar is very useful).
