Description 

A Malpais testpiece. (1) Begin with thin hands in a clean corner and move over a bulge (5.10+) continuing up the widening crack to a large ledge. (2) Move up a thin fingers corner to easier ground above.

Descent: See Surfin' the Turf for the location of the single-rope rap route.

Location 

About 500 ft south of the dead pine at the base of Surfin' the Turf. The Overdrive crack is on the SW face of a clean buttress.
