Description

This route is a powerful undertaking, with its distinct crux at the top.

The first 1/3 is easy enough. The middle section involves nice technical climbing up the arete, after which a good resting spot is reached. The last 1/3 of the climb is powerful, and requires determination to pass the last bolt and continue to the anchors.

A nice climb.

Location

Rightmost route on the East Face

An area classic with technical moves and a distinct crux after the fourth bolt. The other side of the arete is bolted as well and goes at 5.12c.

I think this route would be more classic if the squeeze job to the left hadn't been forced, especially since it will probably see virtually NO ascents, ever.
