Description

Mostly shade, this area has harder routes. I think it gets less traffic as it is harder to find. Typical Rocky Butte Basalt. Sport, Toprope, and Trad. Most climbers rap from an anchor and do a route, but there is one 3rd class descent to get to the main ledge of Warrior Wall, and the guardrail descent which may be considered low 5th class. One can also approach Warrior Wall from below.

Getting There

A few yards from road parking. The easiest way to find Warrior Wall is to walk along the road and at the guardrail enter the path on the "south" or right side of guardrail. The guardrail descent parallels the road to the "north" and then heads steeply down the brushy slope. See pictures for a better idea.

Arrow points to bolt anchors for Orient Express(5.8) on Far East Wall, but is also a rap point to ledge for Warrior Wall. There are actually 3 bolt anchors here. Best to sling the tree for a personal before stepping down onto ledge. Only then can you see the anchors.

Approach for top anchor for Smears for Fears(5.10a). This starts just right of fallen tree(2007). There used to be a stump above anchor climbers used for a personal to stretch down to clip into anchor, but it is gone. Scary reach now.
