Matt boulderin at Viewpoint Cliffs

Description

These rocks offer summer climbing when the valley gets to hot. The rock isn't very good, infact some describe it as vertical gravel. The view is better than the climbing. The tallest cliffs are only 30 feet high. The area is suited well for bouldering, toproping, and easy trad. It must be low tide to climb here and watch out for waves they have a tendency to splash up every so often.

Getting There

Just north of the city of Depoe Bay lies a State Park Viewpoint. The climbs are on the rock below.
