Opuntia. LeAnn Jones getting a lap after the Spud...

Description

A fun and varied route that starts on a rounded steep
slab. Has several harder moves on it that could be considered a crux.

Location

Southeast side of Poultry Pillar (across from the Crack House on Castle Rock). Opunitia is on the far right corner of this wall, right on the edge of the highly featured/fragile rock, No Climb Zone.

Protection

Bolts with rap anchors at the top.

I felt this was a very stout lead for 10a, especially considering other 10's in the area. There were lots of sections with crux moves and the holds were anything but positive. With that said its a great climb, and reminded me a lot of slab climbing in little cottonwood.

Great climb fun route I thought it was a sustained 5.10 a with 5.10b Crux moves
