Description

This is a secluded granite crag with an obvious overhanging face, cleaved by a crack. The rock on this block is better than that of the surrounding crags.

There seems to be a lot of potential for new routes.

Getting There

This crag is 0.4 miles south of Bush League Buttress. The GPS coordinates are very precise.

Approach as if going to Bush League, but continue south along the foot of Bush League's hill until you hit the first stream running W-E. The cliff should be apparent from here. Approach to the southwest of the face, through a corridor and then 150' up the 4th class granite slabs.

Featured Route For Oneg Shabbat Block
Oneg Shabbat is the obvious, cyclone-shaped crack in the middle of the upper face.

Oneg Shabbat 5.11-  CO : South Platte : ... : Oneg Shabbat Block
This is the striking, curved crack on the overhanging face. Start on a steeply sloping ledge (definitely anchor your belayer) in overhanging, twin finger cracks. Begin using both cracks, then stay with the left crack as it very gradually widens. The angle eventually kicks back after a few moves of flaring squeeze chimney. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in CO
