One week of climbing in Colorado from March 11-19

Hey guys/gals I am planning a week long trip to colorado to climb. I mainly sport climb but will probably bring crash pads to hit must climb boulders. I am looking for places to camp and places I should definitely climb at. I will most likely have a few beginners and some stronger climbs who will want to jump on some 12's. Any information will help. Thanks!

That is peak Spring storm wave season. The storms line up in the Pacific and roll in waves one after another. Hope you fit in the gap between them.

I am just now starting to do some research on everything. That is my spring break week so hopefully it will fall in a perfect time slot.

Southern colorado will be all gravy. Shelf road particularly with plenty of camping and thousands of sport routes. That would be my plan and from there based on weather branch out.

Is the southern part usually more weather free?

Shelf is probably your best bet but the weather will be all over the place. You could be fine around Denver or not. Impossible to say.

Unfortunately the spring is wrap around storms that go south around Colorado and shelf can get rain and snow frequently then.
