DescriptionBrutal bouldering in a large desert area above Superior, AZ. Many trees and boulders give it decent shade but you can still get murdered in the sun. Not very crowded and we should keep it this way. The rock is volcanic with crimps, pockets, slopers, jugs, you name it. Getting ThereFrom Superior, AZ follow state road 60 towards Globe. After going under a tunnel, drive approximately a mile to Magma Mine Rd. There is a sign at the turn off that says Oak Flat Campground. From there make a left onto the dirt road or head towards Oak Flat Campground. If you make a left, the road gets pretty beast and in small cars it is a bitch but it can still be doable.
