Had anyone climbed in the New or the Red recently? Is it climbable right now? Too wet or too cold?? Headed that way from SLC, UT and hoping for the best...

last weekend the red was pretty wet.. fortress wall was dry enough but very muddy. We just got snow last night so many places will be wet and falling ice will be an issue. I planned on heading down sunday with the warm up that we are expecting. Check out redriverclimbing.com.

The new has been all over the place weather wise recently, but this weekend is supposed to be good. There's a bit of snow on the ground now so there might be some run off in some areas when it warms up

Thanks - I'll just have to cross my fingers and knock on wood. I've never climbed either place and it's my spring break so I'm psyched to squander whatever glorious climbing I can!
