Hi y'all,
I am flying into DC in about a week and was curious about some good spots to do a little free climbing. Would Greats Falls work? Do they have any regulations against at that location? Any recommendations from locals would be great! Not looking for anything extreme 5.8-5.10 just trying to stay active when I have free time on my trip.

Thanks in advance!

Edit. Most of my time will be in and around the Dullus Airport area but will have a rental car.

Great Falls Virginia has plenty of routes in a beautiful setting and there are no rules as far as I know, but certainly no policing. Great Falls Maryland is also a good option for scrambling with fewer verticle climbs, but ample amounts. Both have quality rock, but you will find it smooth and greasy at times as it has a high level of shist.

You may find Carter Rock as your best bet when it comes to free soloing. Lots of routes, good top outs, nice setting.

You will find many climbers at these sights who will be glad to share their rope with you, so just bring your harness.
