Description The Northwest Route is a grungy wide gully on the West face of the Charlatan. There are a couple fun chicken wings to be had in there, but this route isn't why you came to the Needles.
Location West face of the Charlatan. Descend the Djin/Charlatan notch, walk down 3 mins till you see the wide crack in the West face.
Protection Gear to 3"

| We were getting a few drops and the sky was threatening to open up, so we pulled out the guide to find a single pitch moderate and found this. Hiked down... pretty uninspiring but we climbed it anyway! And had some fun. |
