Description 

The Northwest Corner is the group of cragging routes at the bottom of the Fountain Buttress, generally facing the river. The majority receive good sun from mid-day to early evening.

Chicken Out Arete at the Fountain Buttress, Glenwood Canyon. Chicken Out Arete shares the same start as Railroad Arete and then moves right at the top to the finish of the Railroad Tracks Cracks.

An easier, and most likely, more popular version of the Railroad Arete. Start by climbing the arete protected by two bolts. This is the crux of the "Chicken Out" version. Mantle onto the narrow ledge above the second bolt, a long sling may be helpful, and move right to a crack on the arete. Plug a #1 Camalot, make a few steep moves before the angle kicks back.
