This is my first season lead Climbing in the traditional manor. I have done bushwack crack and callitwhatyouplease in LCC. Any suggestions of other good starting routes? 5.8 to 5.9 Also any suggestions for starter cracks?

Crecent Crack, and do the coffin once you are up.
Schoolroom is always a good trad warm up.
Perhaps is always good. watch for rope drag and protect your second.
Pentapatich.
Start there. Let me know if you want others to try.

Crack in the Woods, Cranial Prophylactic, and Beckey's Wall are also good mostly crack routes of about the same difficulty.

Satan's Corner. Steep and beautifully exposed.
Half a Finger. Steep and burly.

Redtail Hawk, circling nest 40' up the tower at Anderson Pass

Pentapitch is a fun little cruiser, but a little early for that yet. Be sure to put it on your list though. Then maybe Japanese Terraces.

Till then add these to the recommendations above...

Perhaps is a fun little 5.7, but may still be seeping a bit, IDK. While you're in the area hit Cranial Prophylactic (5.8?) and TR or lead Smitty's Wet Dream (5.9).

Touch Up, Gordon's Hangover, Green A, Wheels on Fire (a little farther up the gully) fit the 5.9's request.

all must-do routes, I doubt anyone would argue that.
