| this is really great info. I'd heard a rumor about it but nothing this definitive. Aside from the issues you mentioned, what about lobbying these guys to establish a whitewater park right there. Just imaging if they put in a great surfing wave and play park? It's almost ideal there... | |

| A Whitewater park...are you kidding me? Man I would never climb there again if they did that. Hopefully there won't be any problems this season with Bridal Veil, but if there are, Stewart Falls is way cool, and oh we can't forget Maple and Joe's.
Anyone ever been up to Hyalite Canyon, Montana?

| So are there and ice climbs named "Bridal Veil" thad DON'T have access issues??!!??
Is there a subconcious message floating aroud out there in all this?

| There have never been access issues at Bridal Veil Falls in the 25+ years I have been there. Years ago I talked with previous owners regarding climbers and Utah's land owner liability law. That knowledge helped the owner keep the property open to climbers. I would imagine the same conversation could happen with the new owners if concerns arose.
As for the other Bridal Veil Falls in Colorado. The Trust for Public Lands has recently bought the property. TPL has been very good to climbers as they have bought several pieces of property that have helped assure access. I expect to be climbing both this season.

| Jesse, there is at least another Bridal Veil Falls that doesn't have an access issue. It's in RMNP, but it ain't much of an ice climb. | |
